The Custom Style 5 Deluxe 5-String is a very special instrument. -Figured Maple - Engraved Chrome Components -Radius (curved) fingerboard -Style 5 appointments and binding (Limited to 10.)

So many extra features are included in this banjo - all in one - that it is actually at an amazing price. This is the first model Gibson has offered with a radiussed fingerboard that is not a Top Tension model. Also, the metal components are hand engraved and chrome plated. Again, this is unique. The chrome plating was only used pre-war RB-4 model, (and the previous limited edition of that banjo), but that banjo was walnut, and the parts were not engraved. Also, this is the first time chrome has been included with the maple wood. and included with Style 5 appointments, which, in themselves, are very special. The natural figure of the maple stands out in the neck and resonator from the lighter stain of the finish, and the high gloss gives it a depth that is truly an eye catcher.

The sound is also that beautiful Gibson ring, but catches the ear as unique at the same time. With maple with chrome hardware and a rosewood fingerboard, also the lighter weight late 1930's reissue tone ring is in this banjo, plus the radius of the fingerboard which easily fits the natural curvature of your fingers, make this banjo a very special instrument which sounds, looks, and feels incredible - and, as a bonus, it is an investment. Only 10 will be built.
