Gibson has a history of building exceptional acoustic guitars for
over 100 years. Today, continuing in this tradition, the new Gibson
guitars are among the finest in the world. The iconic models from the
past, such as the J45 and the J200 models, are now offered with either a
vintage sunburst top or antique natural top. These are also available
in mahogany or rosewood. The Hummingbird and the Dove are beautiful. Additionally, Gibson offers signature models such as the Emmy Lou Harris and Robert Johnson (blues) models, built to the exacting specifications of the artist's guitar. In the True Vintage Series, each guitar is an exact reproduction of the vintage model it represents. Incredibly beautiful woods are used for special models, which are often limited to a specific number being produced. Three limited edition models are available only through the Gibson 5-star dealers, including the Bonecrusher model, which is a traditional dreadnaught with the herringbone binding and a beautiful, powerful rosewood sound. Also, the Advanced Jumbo models, which are extremely popular and of limited availability. These models are just a small sample of the many outstanding acoustic guitars which are available.
