- Maple Top with dark sunburst, high gloss finish
- Neck is usually of curly maple, although other woods are available
- Has a nice radius to the fingerboard
- Standard fingerboard inlay in the Hexagon Inlay
- Has a tone control and two volume controls
- Two pickups are installed: piezo for true banjo sound & magnetic for an electric banjo,
- Optional EMG81 pickup with built in battery & preamp - add $175.00 ( provides a wider range of tone & bigger tone quality. Bela's banjo uses this pickup. The piezo pickup is the 2nd pickup and can be dialed in for a good banjo tone quality. This option replaces the magnetic pickup in the standard Meteor)
