The Gibson Tenor banjos are state of the art reproductions of the classic vintage 1930's flathead tenor banjos. The specifications for each model are the same as those listed on the 5-string banjos page, with the exception that the tenor is a 4 string banjo with 19 frets. The tone ring is an exact reproduction of the early 1930's vintage ring, and the rim is a hard rock 3-ply maple rim. The sound is full and rich and it rings like a bell up the neck. Outstanding playability makes chording up and down the fingerboard easy and fun.

TB Deluxe Gibson TB Deluxe Tenor
"The TB Deluxe includes the same specifications as the 5-string version, except it has the 4-string tenor neck which has 19 frets instead of 22 frets. Figured Maple neck and resonator, natural high gloss lacquer finish, ebony fingerboard with snowflake inlays in genuine mother of pearl, Bound resonator with black binding, 1930's Gibson reissue bell bronze tone ring, 3-ply hard rock maple rim, and includes the same components as the higher priced models. The TB Deluxel has the same state of the art tone quality and playability of the most expensive Gibson Tenor Banjos. It rings like a bell and is easy to play!

Genuine Mahogany neck and resonator, high gloss lacquer finish, ebony fingerboard with the traditional 250 style inlays in genuine mother of pearl, bound neck & resonator with white binding, 1930's Gibson reissue bell bronze tone ring, 3-ply hard rock maple rim,...includes the same components as the higher priced models. The TB250 is an outstanding tenor banjo. The tone quality is very close to the 1930's Gibson Tenor Banjos, with excellent playability. The string height can be set fairly low for easy chording.
