In commemoration of 50 years since the debut of the Flatt and Scruggs album, Foggy Mountain Jamboree, and the first track as the popular Earl Scruggs composition, "Flint Hill Special", Gibson and JDMC are proud to announce the commemorative Limited Edition Earl Scruggs Flint Hill Special Banjo.

Breathtaking in appearance and tone, this banjo is based upon the Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard styling and features the classic Gibson Hearts and Flowers fingerboard and peghead inlay pattern. Additionally, the resonator and neck are fashioned from beautifully figured maple and finished in classic Exact Replica Amber Brown color and a tone sensitive lacquer overcoat. The engraved gold-plated armrest, tailpiece, and hoop complement a mother-of-pearl bound peghead, mother-of pearl heelcap, pearl nut, engraved "Flint Hill Special" pearl truss rod cover, and Vintage 2 tuners with pearl buttons. The banjo will be kept snug and safe in an Earl Scruggs signature redline banjo case.
