Some Customer Comments
Janet,
Just dropping you a note to let you know that the Nechville Meteorite,
(used) arrived yesterday safe & sound.
It is beautiful and has a great sound. Thank you so much for your
assistance, help, and advice in setting me up with an excellent
Nechville. I like it so much, I'm going to have trouble sending it to
Tom Nechville to have the modifications, (adding synth capabilities and
an EMG 81) since I will miss playing it.
All the best and I will be in touch soon,
Knight M
Hi Janet:
Wanted to say thanks. I've received yesterday my Nextar
in fine shape. I like the banjo very much. It's a very comfortable
and playable neck. The profile feels right up and down the neck,
I like the tone, that I'm getting. It's very close to what I like, I think
it'll be there with only a few minor tweaks. Getting used to side
dots/cascade pattern wasn't bad at all. The color and flame ,
of course makes for a very cool and sharp looking banjo !
Thanks again.
Wayne
Hi Janet:
The Nechville Meteor arrived Friday and debuted its first gig Saturday night. The regulars at the dance we played immediately
noticed its striking design and I got a lot of attention without picking a note. I like the sound with both pickups at the same level
and the tone control at full treble. The long sustain works well for smooth dances especially waltzes. I played it on "So Soft
Your Goodbye" if you know that tune by Randy Goodrum (played by Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler on their album "Neck
and Neck")and on a couple of other sets of jigs and Old Time tunes. Two of our band members who scoffed at the idea of an
electric banjo were easily converted and many curious dancers talked with me afterward about it.
I really like the feel of it. It is nicely balanced, plays easily. It is really pretty. Nothing however can take the place of my Deering
Calico, which I purchased from you last year. I can really punch out Irish reels with that banjo and people sitting out can't sit
still...
Anyway, the Meteor and the Calico will be featured again this Saturday when we play another dance in another town. Steve H
