Some Customer Comments
........ I am using the 5/8 Scorpion, and though it makes some banjos
brighter, --again-- has made my banjo (the RT) fatter and loud. I had
several people come up and ask me what that great-sounding banjo was. Wayne
Hi, Janet,
I have everything installed and the banjo sounds great. The Scorpion
bridge is the best bridge I have ever used. It gives my banjo lots of
volume and power and the S.S. head really increased the bass, or so it
seems.
Thank you,
Mark S
Now, about the Scorpion bridge. I think it is better than any
bridge I have tried. Comparisons: to the Snuffy, it is clearer (Snuffy bridges
tend to muddy a sound, which, I guess, people want, but you know that I do
not).
To the Hot Spot: the Hot Spot does not provide as quick a response as does
the Scorpion.
To the Moon: Moon bridges (individually) are either right on
or never on, so the point is moot; however, I have used several good Moons,
and the Scorpion beats them.
The maker is correct: the longer the bridge stays on, the better
the banjo sounds.
One thing I should add: I had the bridge on the banjo before I switched from
a Kerschner to the Price, and that may have been a factor too--but I think
that the bridge has been the main factor, as I've used the Price before on
the same Stelling with far fewer good results. Wayne S
