Jerry Garcia called Scotty Stoneman the Bluegrass Charlie Parker while others called him Jimi Hendrix of the fiddle. LIVE IN L.A. is the only album featuring this innovative country fiddler with both instrumentals and vocals along with the legendary KENTUCKY COLONELS featuring Clarence White. The first time on CD this Classic 1978 release, from a rare 1965 live recording with four bonus tracks added, is now available again and contains such great standards as Oklahoma Stomp, Eighth Of January, Down Yonder, Sally Goodin, Cacklin Hen, Goodnight Irene and many more.
